Reasons for Running

I’m passionate about contributing to the advancement of research and fostering collaboration within the dental community, recognizing the essential role that shared knowledge provides to our field. As a third-year student, my clinical and academic experiences have allowed me to understand that research drives the continuous improvement of patient care, treatment, and preventive measures. Exploration is crucial, serving as the foundation for evidence-based practice, technology, oral-systemic health connections, and policy development. With the opportunity to be a NSRG Board member, my vision is to create an active, interconnected community of professionals/student researchers who are empowered to pursue research in various dental/oral/craniofacial topics in an exciting and supportive environment.

As a dedicated and active participant in dental research, serving within this position will allow me to contribute my leadership, organizational skills, and attention to detail to shape future initiatives that will benefit the student research community. I’m committed to developing and supporting the goals of the platform including enhancing interprofessional connections, expanding opportunities, and strengthening the processes of the organization. My background in both leadership and research positions has provided me with a strong foundation and I am eager about the opportunity to support the growth of NSRG through collaboration!
