AADOCR supports the use of stem cells in dental, oral, and craniofacial research and the development of stem cell related therapies that are efficacious and safe. Basic research and the development of future applications of stem cell research require the ongoing commitment to scientific integrity and social responsibility. AADOCR supports a periodic review of issues that may arise from innovation in the use of stem cells in research and promotes an open, national dialogue on the scientific, ethical and policy issues raised by such advances.
