AADOCR/CADR Joseph Lister Award for New Investigators

The AADOCR/CADR Joseph Lister Award for New Investigators is managed by the American Association for Dental, Oral & Craniofacial Research (AADOCR) and supported by Kenvue. This Awards Competition was created to award young investigators in the American and Canadian Divisions of the IADR with original research in oral disease prevention or oral health promotion.

The two winners of the competition at the AADOCR/CADR Annual Meeting & Exhibition, will go on to compete in the IADR Joseph Lister Award for New Investigators.

 

Award Prize/Recognition
  • 1st Place: $5,000 + $3,000 travel stipend
  • 2nd Place: $3,000 + $3,000 travel stipend
  • $500 to each of the six runners up

Eligibility
  • New investigators within 10 years of their first academic appointment
  • Candidates must be a current full member of the AADOCR or IADR members within the CADR
